How we grow
Must intend to grow, Discipleship…Decide, it’s quite simple
-Let go of some old routines, develop new habits, intentionally change the way I think. Holy Spirit will help. Just a random example for me, I used to get really mad at kiddies at school, immaturity and what not, and the thought used to be, oh man I want to crack one in the face! But not anymore… doesn’t really cross my mind so that’s awesome, bunch of other stuff but my finger hurts too much to type heaps.
We can’t work for salvation but we can grow…like a workout, we have a body and we don’t workout for a body.
Mental shift in to the way Christ thought and perceived things
Stop thinking immature thoughts
Start thinking maturely, thinking for others
I must look to the Holy Spirit to change the way I think, I’m not going to change purely on my own will power.
Verse:
Let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God – What is good and is pleasing him and is perfect
Romans 12:2
Towards other people; negative and judgmental thoughts are something that I need to change, and start thinking God’s way about it. I know I can do this, with the Holy Spirit and my own thought process

Hey andrew
i hope your finger heals well. oh and good luck for basketball:)
Yeah, its a necessicty that we grow spiritually. Right now, we're both spiritually babies. Everyone at my church is like, giving me heaps of help and advice. They can see me learn and grow, which is awesome.
Also, i think its funny. we need to think maturely instead of immaturely, but sometimes, its the people hoo we love and care about so much that think immaturely. ie. our family. Christians need to think like Christ. Thinking of others more than yourself. obviously, after salvation, we desire for our families to be saved as well esp. our parents. but when they refuse to listen to you, they're thinking immaturely. They take pride in their own beliefs and thoughts. They dont open their hearts. Yeah, and the funny thing is, we, the younger ones, think of them dearly and we think maturely, even is we're younger. but our parents, even if they're older and more "mature", they think immaturly.
Just thought that was interesting to point out. Did that make sense to you? I hope it did.
Anyhoo, its late.
