day 17
Day 17 22/02
A place to belong, Called to belong, not just believe
“The church is a body, not a building; an organism, not an organization.”
Why you need a church family
Youth Group, love going. Church wish I would go but well…oh well patience!
Moves you out of self-centered isolation
Fellowship with other not so perfect believers is heaps important because you can help each other out and learn from each other
Develop spiritual muscle
-Love, pray, encourage, admonish, greet, server, teach, accept, honor, bear burdens of each other, forgive, submit, devoted
Family responsibilities!
Body of Christ needs you
Well we must always be there for each other as a church family, if someone is getting detached from God, then we all have to be there to encourage them and keep them on the right path! People have been doing this me from the beginning of my journey with God, and I’ll try my hardest to be out there for others, “freely give and you will freely receive”
Verse:
“In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all others.”
Romans 12:5
Q/A
Well absolutely love going to Youth just to be in fellowship with others for God of course and to learn, listen to speakers, sing, worship, praise,
Ronnie and I were talking about what church really means, well it shouldn’t be restricted to this thought of Sunday morning in a building. Anyway looking at our church, it isn’t all fancy with million dollar facilities so yeah…
Anyway I really would like to go to church every week but if I did, it wouldn’t be worth the arguing and bickering. God is trying to teach me to patient, and well in due course I’ll be there hopefully. And well there are other times I can be in fellowship with church family, Youth!
Cheers, won basketball today by a crushing margin, like 3 times their score. Finals next week, should be interesting because Ash field threatened to own us (not in basketball as in physically) at finals, oh man, have to wait and see!

1 Comments:
hey cool post
cheers for the mention
i like how we can see our church as a body and another family
remember when being accountable to people - share your stories too
it may be one thing to help other people with other problems
but it's another thing to be humble and share your problems too
not that im saying that you aren't doing so ^_^ but yeah it's pretty common for christians to gradually get to that point
just a little warning - cos when you get to the point you don't share - you might not realise it but you might start to backslide
and that's where WE (the church) come in hehe
