Day 18 i need others in my life...fellowship

Day 18 23/02

Well tomorrow is Youth, really looking forward to this speaker that is coming, pray that we can all get a lot out of him. Nothing much else to say… everybody stay safe and see you all tomorrow, Alan catch up!

Experiencing life Together

Fellowship = experiencing life together, GO NOOB CLASS!

In real fellowship people experience

Authenticity

Mutuality

Sympathy

Mercy

Talking about our lives, being honest with others and also to ourselves, well today in commerce I was talking to Albert for like 30 minutes just about where we’re at in terms of like… our family I guess, and it was really good because we were heaps honest and could just give advice and encourage each other, that’s Gold so we’re definitely going to chat more…during class! And a number of other times I’ve shared my problems and it really helps and it’s encouraging others care for you.

Mutuality = art of giving and receiving
Sympathy = sharing pain of others
WE should not rush to solve the problems but sympathize first with others. When someone is really messed it, believing friends need to be around to carry the faith for them!
When someone hurts you, there are two choices.
Retaliation or for resolution
Forgiveness and trust are different, I guess I have to learn how to forgive and then try and build trust over time. Its hard though I admit =/

GO NOOB CLASS AGAIN!

Verse:
“Share each other’s troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2

Q/A

Just to pour out my thoughts and be 100% completely honest to someone(s), and they shouldn’t see it as whining by yeah…well if someone is going through major crap, I really want to be there to listen to them and help them out.
Yeh, in class today, it’s funny because I really let out a lot of stuff and then I come home and read this and it’s about being honest and sharing problems.
Nothing much else really, just to be honest and not to worry that our believing friends will think of you as an annoying complainer because they won’t!

GO NOOB CLASS!

hey andrew, albert here.

awesome post man! i totally agree on how you said its really important to be 100% honest. Dont worry if your beleiving friends hear things you want to say, but dont want them to hear. Your friends are there to help, NoT to judge. It can sometimes happen though, esp. with non-beleivers, because its hard to sympathize, and really understand the situation that your friends are in. I can understand wot ur going through, but it seems to me that your situation is worse than mine. I'll pray for you, Dont worry! :)
Anyhoo, i feel like im just repeating wot you said, but its SO SO REALLY UBER ULTRA important that you be honest with yourselves and to your brother and sisters. Becoz if you cant be honest with yourselves and to others, then how could you be honest with God??
Anyhoo, cool! yeah, im just reinforcing the importance of honesty and being open.

cyaz at skewl, albert

ps: we lost b'ball like crazy! o'well, it was meant to be....
