easter weekend

just a quick post about camp and the past week
friday...sermon from Pastor Steven and it was quite good, was getting excited he'd be speaking to us a number more times over camp.. then heaps of us we went to maccas and then drove off to mangrove mountain..wasn't even that congesated as anticipated..
got there...swam, bummed around. Pretty decent cabin, nash (excellent..snap <3 hime), khris and aaron, then the first sermon which was on seeing potential..was a reallly good message, one of best i've heard..like far out, my heart was jumping out of my chest towards the end...
how to reach potential:
1) changing our mindset
2)changing our capacity
3) Changing the way we look at things
bummed around common room...then pretty early night

second day, lazy morning.. message on embracing change:
Questions to ask ourselves
1) Will you be open enough to change to handle that new thing?
2) Why should we only incurr change because God makes us?
3) What is your vision to be a change agent in your world?

and another one that morning.. Position for impact
1)willingness
2)excellence
3)attitude of our faith


anyway, the rest of that after noon was a real blast, had so much fun, went to do high ropes, basketballed a bit, then a bunch of us gathered in the common room and just started jammin heappps of songs.. and there formed a new band..the Chinese Shakers.. yeh but for like 2 hrs, just heaps good music and that was so much fun, mike lim, jimmy and my bro = new lead singers.. then went to do ab-sailing as well..twas fun
uhh yeh that night, was a free style sermon about the annointing of God..we all need it no matter what..
and yeh, by the end i was in tears! was an incredible feeling, ala that night at youth camp, on a littler scale.. cried out to God about my family..parents.. was crying..shakin...tensin up... unbelievable! good times good times
that night was umm..not much doin, muckin around in the cabins, scabbing some instant noodles

easter sunday..., being Humble
1) practice giving preference
2)learning from others
3)admitting you're wrong when you're wrong - me.
4)practice depending on God

then it was tribal games..making a water shelter..yay green won
beach volleyball...sitting down... yehh we won
swimming in the pool getting midget rocks out of the pool...we tried
anyway that was fun.. night games
deal or no deal..wheel..price is right..millionare..DANCING! (Wow melyap and kenny...romeos)
late nite was heappps fun, went through four different types of instant noodles with hime... gosh...didn't feel flash after all that man..watched russell peters again.. then sleep
nx morning..sermon on leadership..more basketball then HOME..

wednesday some of us high skoolers went to koorong..ate jap as well. was a heaps fun "pre"-outing... good times, now a lot of us gonna be going through every young man/woman's battle...and trading when we finish so should be a good devotion for us to grow through
