Day 39 15/03

Had soccer tryouts, might be in firsts but I’m cool with seconds, in real pain, my knees are playing up again.

I’ve been working on my testimony and just about finished, not going to post it and leave it a surprise for on the night. The chapter yesterday sort of helped with what I’ve been writing, and I’m really challenging the non-believers as to whether or not they should be living for Jesus or be self centered, praying they won’t be freaked out by what I say! Should be great, getting so excited! Lame because I have heaps of assignments to do around the same time L + school camp next Wednesday to Friday.

Becoming a world-class Christian

-Use God for his purposes, not ours.

-Experience heaven in advance

-Are excited about what God will do through them in fresh ways à know they were saved for a mission and to serve

-They are the only fully alive people

-Area is no longer a barrier, only the way we think is.

Worldly Christians look at how their own needs and are self centered, not interested in mission conferences.

How to think like a world class Christian!

Shift from self centered thinking to other centered thinking

Depend on God, and his Holy Spirit to change us. Ask the Holy Spirit to help us get in to the minds of others, what is preventing their relationship with Jesus

Local Thinking à Global Thinking

Prayer!

Pray for: opportunities to witness, courage to speak up, for those who will believe, rapid spread of the message, for more workers

-missionaries, thank God for Pastor Richard and Lilian’s missionary

Me going to Cambodia on a missionary? I think not, but on a much smaller scale. Within school and friends, a “missionary” if you can call it that.

Acts 1:8

You will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world.

Will I become like this? I hope I will gather the faith to do so.

Shift from here now thinking to eternal thinking

Have been most definitely, use money to bring people to Christ. ‘Invest’ real treasure, eternal, in heaven.

Shift from thinking of excuses to thinking of creative was to fulfill your commission
Ask God, no need to wait for his calling.
Heart for the whole world, Jesus wants all lost children found.

Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your ternal plan for all mankind.

Q/A

Ruling out an over seas trip till I’m out of school and family…well you know…
Start thinking globally, starting think in terms of eternal consequences, not temporary ones. Drive out stupid excuses!
Random idea was really reaching out to school, there really isn’t an adequate number of people who know Jesus, ideally, we’d all be but… that’s not that case and that’s our mission to try make it happen. Also need to be a good role model, you see people wearing a cross on the neck, yet they swear furiously acting…not well properly I guess, not mentioning names but they are around in numbers
