day 37 great chapta!

14/03

Sharing your life message

Four parts:

Your testimony: story of how you began a relationship with Jesus (how convenient it comes now!)
Your life lessons: the most important lessons God has taught you
Your Godly passions: issues that God shaped you to care about
The Good News: message of salvation

Your life message includes your testimony
Yes, yes, yes! Outreach testimony here I come! Glad this chapter along cause it gives me a little clarification as to what I’m exactly supposed to do.
Write out, then remember main points..

Four parts
What was my life before I met Jesus – Done
How I realized I needed Jesus – ½ to be done.
How I committed my life to Jesus – Done
The difference Jesus has made in my life – ½ to be Done
Not long to go, I might post the draft in a couple of days!

Your Life Message includes your life lessons

Learn from others’ experiences
Make a list of my life lessons!

What has God taught me from failure?
-There is discontent on earth, it’s ok to fail, just get up and try again!

What has God taught me from a lack of money?
-You can’t have it all and who cares about money anyway

From pain or sorrow or depression
-That there is discontent

-That God will be there to support you always
-Build a character from it

Through waiting
-…Patience! Trust that God will come through for you and he will.

Illness
-To help out others when they are ill

Disappointment
-Can’t have it all, there is no need to have it all

-Prioritize our goals in life
-Self belief

Family, church, relationships, small group, critics
-They love you, (except the critics)
-Relationships are really important
-We’ll always be here for each other
-Church is the best thing ever!
-Family cares, but are too stubborn!
-Small Group, NOOB class rocks graduating to high school now though :D
-To be gracious to your critics, act towards them as God did to you when he sent Jesus.

Your Life message includes sharing your Godly Passions
I care for my friends and family (non-Christian) the more I think about it, the more I worry that I won’t be able to tell them about Jesus and God…
I’m feeling really passionate about spreading the Word, using my story to reach to others. COME ON OUTREACH!! (I better not stuff up!) This may change but right now, this is where all my heart really is right now. Really wanted to get involved in worship as well…how many times have I mentioned this!!

Your life message includes the Good news

To trust God’s grace to save us through what Jesus did, our sins are forgiven, we get a purpose for living, and a future home in heaven is promised

WE MUST LOVE OTHERS AS GOD DID us!
It’s amazing, the last couple of days, my heart and mind has really started thinking about others. Maybe it’s from reading these chapters, maybe it’s because I’ve been praying for it, Or outreach is near. But it feels great, I really want to spread the Good News to everybody, cast aside all excuses, make the impossible possible! Pray, PRAY! PRRRRRRRRAYYY!!! (getting passionate sorry)

Take all opportunities God puts forward for us
The past 2 days, I’ve taken almost all of them to talk about God with two non-Christian friends.
This is the only purpose to be done on earth! I want someone to say to me
I want to thank you. I’m here because you cared enough to share the Good News with me.
Cheers Nick! And everybody at Youth for caring oh man!
MAN That would feel awesome
Today’s chapter was AWESOME! As you can tell by the constant caps locking

Be ready at all times to answer anyone who asks to explain the hope you have in you, but do it with gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3:15b-16

Q/A

The whole of youth, and all their new friends. It’s been destined for me, how wonderful. I don’t have to answer this question!
PEACE OUT! GOD BLESS!

forgot day 36 lol cheers kieran

13/03

Day 36 You were made for a mission

Introducing people to God!

Your mission is a continuation of Jesus’ mission on earth
It’s a mission for everyone, all believers to be responsible for new believers

Your mission is a wonderful privilege

Telling others how they can have eternal life is the greatest thing you can do for them
Remember how hopeless life was before Christ

Your mission has eternal significance
Urgency…

God’s timetable for history’s conclusion is connected to the completion of our commission
Share our faith, it’s all that matters

What it costs to fulfill our mission
“Hand God a blank sheet with your name signed at the bottom and tell him to fill in the details”

One more for Jesus
Make this theme of my life, care about what God cares about (fighting lost children)
Now I understand why everybody was so happy after I got saved at camp, its time to pass it on now. Working in my friend Abhinav right now ha-ha

Verse

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Farther and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

Q/A
Fear of all sorts of matters, the fact that I’m a new Christian.
But as I’m reading this chapter, I’m having a very serious religious talk with Abhinav (who is hopefully coming to outreach) and I’m getting somewhere.
Feels awesome

Hey anDREW!
i TOTALLY had the same feeling when i read this chapter. I was fully like, whoah my goodness.
Its SO REALLY GREAT to hear that ur heart has changed to think more of others. I share the same experience with u. I always feel like i wanna shout out the Good News to EVERYONE! at skewl and at home and whereever. Oh, and dont be sorry for being passionate. :)
Yeah, you seem extremly excited for Outreach, and im also excited for u, even though i really dont know what it is. But yeah, i'll pray for u and for Outreach. Its amazingly amazing how God has given us passion to spread his Word. its like, he gave us a free gift, the most important gift anyone could ever receive - our salvation- and we grow from then and its SO SO important that we share this news to all, every1 we know. I was just thinking about all the people in our year, and i felt sorrow for those hoo were lost and those hoo do not know why they're on the Earth. But its SO AWESOME to see that God has given some of us the gift of salvation and the passion inside of us to spread his Word to those hoo are lost.
oh, yeah and that thing on perfect love. i mentioned perfect love in ISCF once, i think u were there.yeah, this chapter kinda clarified the definition and that verse ( 1 john 4:18) gave SUCH and impact on me, i was like "THis IS so CooL." Its SUCH and important verse - i rushed to my bible and "light of highed" that verse (Lol). Yeah, i still dont have perfect love in my heart, but i dont think anyone does. Its in human nature to be selfish and have feelings of hatred towards ppl, but perfect love is what God is. He loves us SO SO SO SO SO much and thats the kinda love that we Christians must have for every1, ESPECIALLy those hooo are lost and have yet to find Christ in their lives. THAT's y i was so EXCITED when i read this chapter. Worldly things and persecutions should not let you down, NOTHING should stop u from spreading the Good News!
Yeha, so, thats what i gotta say, in response to ur blog. Just saying that i extremly totally agree with what ur saying, and i share the same feeling and passion u r feeling.
yeah....so, i'll cya at skoool.
