Day 31 8/03
Thank God we won the grand finals! Cheers to an awesome seconds team, we didn’t lose a game. Bad luck for 1sts and 14’s (undefeated till today) and well done 15’s who also one. Really knocked ‘em down today, was playing good when no-one else was and that kept us in it, then some others got going and it was smooth! So happy! And It’s day 31, only a week or so to go… Well to be honest, looking forward to reading another book which isn’t so damn good and informative! Anyway.
Applying your abilities –
All of our abilities come from God
All abilities are from God, even sinful ones which are just being not used correctly
Every ability can be used for God’s glory
e.g. If you have business ability, first realize it comes from god, give credit, and second use your business to serve a need of others and to share your faith with unbelievers.

What I’m able to do, God wants me to do
It’s up to me to play…my own role! Do what I’m good at, don’t get out and try and become an Opera singer or something… a ballet dancer.
The abilities you do have are a strong indication of what God wants you to do with your life
God will use anybody!
Introverts – shy
Extroverts – outgoing
Two people may have same gift of evangelism, but if one is introverted and other is extroverted, the gift will be expressed in different ways.

Family –
I’ve learnt that the name of Jesus can reach anywhere! My family for one!
Educational –
Not doing well in everything, ah Japanese =/!
Vocational –
Well since I don’t work… basketball! Soccer! I’m good at them I suppose and have an enjoying time playing, more so than a lot of things. Question isn’t that relevant to be so I’ll stop here.
Spiritual –
CAMP, CAMP, CAMP. Period
Ministry –
Youth, starting the bible study group with Ronnie and Dennis, and also doing Purpose with a small group has been really good. Hoping to get involved in more stuff as I get older
Painful –
Parents, need I say more?
I think God gifted me with well… an ability to handle these painful situations I find myself in, before I came to Jesus, I used to be wrecked everything time things with the parents weren’t going to well. Now it’s better, I speak to others, I’ve really related to this chapter’s advice and teachings.
God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God’s many kinds of blessings.
