What makes God smile?
To make God smile is the first purpose in our lives!
There are five acts of worship that make God smile.
To love God supremely,
Yes, I do love God supremely, he loves all of us so much, he cares for us, he made us, he sent Jesus to die for us to remove the barrier that would otherwise have prevented a relationship God, the least I can do is love God more than anything in this world.
When we trust him completely, I feel that I’m beginning more and more everyday to trust God to take care of my life…and that’s just awesome, God/Jesus has never got it wrong nor will he, he’s the creator of the universe, why shouldn’t I completely trust him!
When we obey him wholeheartedly
Obedience unlocks understanding, partially being obedient as in picking commands you wish to fulfill is still disobedience. Being obedient to God means we really love him and appreciate him. It’s not going to happen over night, I mean tomorrow I can just become someone who listens to everything God is telling me, but I pray and believe that over my life, that will become the case!!
When we praise him and thank him continually
God loves receiving heartfelt praise and appreciation, just as we do! When we give God enjoyment, our very own hearts are filled with joy J, it’s a two way thing, while praising, we enjoy what he has done for us, while God enjoys the praise we’re giving him! That’s just gold.
When we use our abilities
Everything thing we do, BESIDES SIN, can be done for God’s pleasure. The actions we take, not only going to church, Youth Group, whatever, still bring a smile to God’s face. He enjoys watching our talents and abilities because he made us, like a proud parent! We don’t bring Glory to God by hiding our abilities, but by just being us. Being the person he created us to be.
Verse: The lord is pleased with those who worship him and trust his love. Psalm 147:11
Q/A
What areas of my life? I really don’t need to pinpoint one area, EVERYTHING in my life I should now trust him most in! Family problems, school, sport! I can just trust that God will be there for me and to help me with whatever I’m going through… Because…Jesus never gets it wrong! Woo! Go Chris Hope!, Getting side tracked…anyway, from now on, I just want to trust in God with everything because I know he knows best for me.

That statement really touched me. It is totally true. Isn't God great that when we please him, we ourselves share in the same joy he does. Amazing!
